(1984-89) and more recently held a full-time faculty appointment in the
USC

of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (1990-1995).
He is currently a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Behavioral Research and services at the
California
State
University
, Long Beach. He has evaluated a number of community based prevention programs, including two Community Partnership Prevention Programs funded by the U.S. Center for Substance Abuse Prevention, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the California Endowment and the California Community Foundation.
